Keep a container of safe snacks at school
Ask for a few days notice, when food related activities will happen
Some parents send out non food items for Valentines, B days or other events.
You child might like sending out heart shaped erasers with his or her Valentine cards.

Many Companies that sell Allergy Posters and T-shirts also sell lunch bags and other gear that reminds others your child has an allergy, great for child's first field trip, or day at school. I like the idea of a lunch bag that says "I have a Milk Allergy" for younger students.

Dairy Free Lunches
Many products by Dare Canada are nut free, however most contain or are made on the same line as milk.
I have however found many products that are made on both milk and nut free lines by Mr. Christie and Presidents Choice.
If you call Presidents Choice about any food product, read them the bar code, they will
tell you if it is on a allergrn free line or factory.

Juices that say added calcium may contain milk.
Sha Sha Bread Dairy Free (cookies have nut free lable)
Sunrype Fruit Bars and Drinks, are nut and Dairy Free

Sandwich Idea's
Dairy Free margrine such as Earth Balance List of dairy free breads
here. Many Deli meats are cut on the same equipment as cheese, this is not safe for milk allergic.
