Irritable Bowel syndrome
The causes of IBS are unknown. Abnormal contractions of the muscles in the
intestinal wall mightbe the cause. Some people find avoiding dairy, large meals
and/or fatty foods helpful. For some people, increasing fiber helps others
decreasing fiber. Stress is also a factor. A Gastroenterologist can
diagnose this condition.

If mint tea helps, and you dislike the stuff add it to rice.
If wheat germ helps you can add it to gravy, cookies, even muffins.
An old remidy for hemeroids is, cut a raw non frozen poetatoe in the shape
of a french fry. put in your anus and leave over night. Do not use a frozen
french fry. All medical treatments should get the OK from a doctor.
Keeping a diet log can be helpful. Keep in mind effects of food can show up hours,
even days later. You may notice that some "trigger foods" always hit you other
"trigger foods" some times hit you. You may be able to handle some "trigger foods"
in moderation if you are in a low stress period in your life.
Talk to your doctor about, what triggers you.
Stress, menstrual cycle and activity level all effect IBS. Yoga and other
excersize reduces the effects of IBS as well as drinking water and bland rice.
